Aim of Training:

The main aim of the training is  to develop the skills of administrative cadre to enable them to undertake their tasks and duties  with efficiency.    

Specific Objectives:

By the end of the course the participants will be able to:

•        communicate effectively with all stakeholders, students, faculty members, supervisors…etc  (preparation for meetings, minutes taking, reporting,..etc )

•        establish well organized filing systems (hard and soft)

•        apply techniques of time management, setting priorities and solving problems.

•        use AUW electronic system effectively; in relation to SIS, budgeting, procurement, claims and other functions.  

•        develop their computer skills (Microsoft Office and Data Mining).

•        prepare and deliver presentations.

This course is addressed for AUW administrative assistants. The course will be delivered in modules;

 MODULE 1 Basic Office Management Skills:

•        Communication skills

•        Time management.

•        Filling system. (Hard, soft, archiving, share folders).

•        Meetings and Minutes taking.

•        Problems solving

MODULE 2: Applications on the university electronic system

•        Preparation of Budgets

•        Purchasing Requests

•        Maintenance Claims

•        And other functions

MODULE 3: Developing Computer skills (Microsoft office and data mining).
