IRIE BAND one of the Ahfad University for Women students' bands that was established two years ago as part of the Talents Development Programme. They have participated in many events inside the University such as the World Food Day and outside AUW in Omdurman Cultural Center, French Cultural Center and Andrea Center. They managed to attract lots of audiences and fans with their outstanding performances. The group has recorded several songs in Arabic, which will be shared in social media.  The band is under the supervision of Mr. Mamdouh Fareed, Music Instructor at AUW's Talents Development Programme.

 احد الفرق الموسيقية القائمه داخل جامعة الاحفاد ضمن برنامج تنمية المواهب. وهم يمارسون نشاطهم منذ سنتين و لهم مشاركات داخل الجامعه مثل يوم الغذاء العالمي و احتفالات الجامعه المختلفه و خارج الجامعه مثل 

المركز الثقافي بأمدرمان و المركز الثقافي الفرنسي و مركز اندريه. و قد استتطعن جذب انتباه الحضور بالاداء الجميل، من مشاريع الفرقه تسجيل مجموعه من الاغنيات باللغه العربيه و اطلاقها من خلال مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي إن شاء الله.....يقوم بالاشراف على تدريب الفرقه الاستاذ ممدوح طاهر فريد استاذ بقسم تنمية المواهب
