The Public Health Training & Research Unit (PHTRU) at the Nutrition and Health Training & Research Center at AUW, in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, conducted a 5-days (19-23/11/2022) training workshop on  qualitative methods for health research.

The workshop targeted researchers at the School of Health Sciences in order to collect data about Zero Vaccine dose Communities in Crisis-affected Populations, in addition to a number of public health students in order to build their research capacity.

The study's Principle Investigator, Dr. Majdi Sabahelzain presented an overview about the objectives and the methods of the study. The intensive training on the qualitative methods was  provided by Dr. Huda Sherfi. The workshop was concluded by Professor Osama Awad Salih, the Dean of School of Health Sciences through giving a lecture on the importance of using monitoring and evaluation tools in research in order to improve the quality.
