A one day forum was organised for the dissemination of the information and outcomes of the ReMaLiC project (Reaching Out to Marginalized Populations in Low-income Countries) project at the School of Languages, AUW on Saturday, November 5th.
The forum included presentations by Dr. Duria Mansour, Director of Research & Grants Unit at AUW, Dr. Amna M. Bedri, AUW & Head of ReMaLiC team in Sudan, Dr. Husham Alsuni, Head of E-Learning Department, Khartoum University, Mr. Abuzeid Ali, Director of Daralsalam Primary School.
A number of participant joined the forum from different educational institutions (AUW, Sudan University of Science & Technology and Dralsalam Primary Schools).
Topics discussed included the research findings, Sudan Policy Brief, Technology and Educational System,
and reflections on the project from the schools' perspectives.
The forum concluded by suggestions on e-learning in Sudan, and needed improvements in the access and quality of education in Sudan.
