Today, the Nutrition and Health Center for Training and Research (NHCTR) at Ahfad University for Women, welcomed Dr. Maysoon Dahab, assistant professor in London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in UK and Ms. Omama Abdalla, member of Y-Peer organization. This visit came to enhance the joint collaboration between the NHCTR at Ahfad University for Women and the LSHTM in the ongoing research between the two institutions in the fields of public health, in addition to discussing opportunities for future collabration in the fields of nutrition and physiotherapy. The meeting was headed by Dr. Majdi Sabahelzain, the Director NHCTR, with attendance of Dr. Huda Sharfi, Mrs. Wafaa Elbadawi, and Mr. Tareg, heads of the public health nutrition, and physiotherapy units at the center, in addition to Ms. Azza, the adminstrative officer of NHCTR, and other researchers from the School of Health Sciences including Dr. Manal Abdeen and Ms. Marwa Akola. The visit will also be completed with a workshop on systematic and scoping review in the next week.
