Doctoral of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sustainable Rural Development (SRD)


The Ph.D. in Sustainable Rural Development admits graduate students throughout the academic year.

Applicants for Ph.D. must hold a master's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university in a relevant discipline. Master's graduates in a range of humanities, social-sciences and applied-sciences disciplines are eligible for admission. Candidates with masters in geography, sociology, planning, environmental science, rural extension studies and international development are considered particularly suitable.

Application Procedure:

An applicant will be required to submit the following documents listed below to the Post graduate secretary at the school of Rural Extension Education and Development:

·         A statement of interest.

·         A curriculum vitae (CV).

·         A research proposal.
